Multi-platinum country artist Deana Carter brings her signature sound to the Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts on Thursday, November 12.
Carter took the music world by storm with her landmark debut album, Did I Shave My Legs for This?, which topped both the country and pop charts and featured the timeless No. 1 hit "Strawberry Wine." The album became one of country music's most treasured classics of the 1990s, launching a career that has spanned eight albums as a singer, songwriter, and producer.
The daughter of legendary studio guitarist and producer Fred Carter Jr., Deana grew up surrounded by some of music's biggest names, helping shape the distinctive blend of country and singer-songwriter storytelling that has earned her widespread respect and acclaim. Beyond her own recording career, she co-wrote Kenny Chesney's Grammy and CMA-nominated hit "You & Tequila" and continues to write, produce, and tour across the country.
